Hair is a Conductor of Energy!

I hope everyone is well and having a good start to the beautiful Spring season!

I love Spring - so many new beginnings. What I love about new beginnings is that you get to start again. No matter how many times it takes. Flowers get to re-bloom every year, and so can you. It’s all about energy and its takes a lot of energy to re-bloom and re-grow. So this is a reminder to keep going, and going, and going.

I wanted to talk today about energy. You see, Pet-Friends, my Pet-Mom had a bit of an episode outside today. She usually wears a hat outside but today she didn’t. Her hair was standing up and was all over the place. She kept combing it and combing it and wetting it to keep it in place and finally she gave up, shrugged her shoulders and went out.

She wanted to get in her walk near the river. While she was out walking, a lady came up to her and said her hair was a mess and how could she be outside looking like that! Pet-Mom did not say anything, just walked past her and kept going. Pet-Mom finally stopped at her favourite bench to watch the water and I flew down to sit beside her. I put my paw on her leg and said “What is up with that lady? And why is your hair all over the place today?”

Pet-Mom just smiled and said - "Hair is a conductor of energy. When there is lots of energy out there in the world, your hair can feel it and it acts accordingly. Right now there is so much uncertainty, anxiety, meanness, some compassion, some heartfelt, some kindness, that my hair is reaching out to find those harmonious energies. So it stretches out to seek what it needs."

"I had to think about that for a minute. Then I said to Pet-Mom, is energy what the hair feels, like the times when I have my fluffy tail standing straight up and fluffed out as I was walking down the apartment hallways and outside?" "Yes" said Pet-Mom. "Energy was seeking you out. Energy can be lots of things, static electricity, elemental beings, aura energy, chakra energy, colour vibration and frequency, of all sorts."

The key, says Pet-Mom is to sit quietly when your hair is uncontrollable, and try to figure out where the energy is coming from and what you can do about it, and if there is anything you can do about it.

I asked Pet-Mom what she can do with her hair right now, she just smiled at me and said, she could feel that I was coming to see her today, that she was so happy that she was going to see me today, so she didn’t care how her hair looked. She just wanted to feel and see and experience me.

All I can say is that I was so happy on the inside that she is still excited to see me and that we have a sign, flyaway hair! So, the next time your hair is not behaving the way you want, just remember there is an energy field around you - and give that a little think.
